There is plenty to see and do in every direction. You will have great pleasure exploring the charming towns, villages and countryside. There are many lovely walks and bicycle circuits. A public swimming pool (Le Garrissou) is only about 500m away – a great day out for the whole family.

There are many excellent eating places nearby and La Maison de Julie is only a ten-minute foot-walk from the historic medieval town centre of Cordes-sur-Ciel.

About 20 minutes away by car you will find the department’s capital, Albi. The Episcopal City is situated in the centre of the actual city around the cathedral. The area was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 2010. There are delightful walks along the side of the River Tarn and glorious shops.
